Kate’s experience includes work in many aspects of fiduciary tax and individual income tax as well as estate and gift tax preparation for high net worth clients. She has worked closely with estate administrators, accountants, and the legal community to ensure accurate and thorough reporting. Researching complex tax issues, and keeping current with federal and state tax laws and IRS regulations have been an integral part of her work.
Kate has held various professional positions during her career including work as a software engineer, a quality control engineer, and a high school mathematics teacher. Kate graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and earned a Master’s degree in Education (MEd), also from the University of St. Thomas.
Kate is a long time resident of Apple Valley, Minnesota where she and her husband raised their three children and has been an active volunteer in her community. Most recently, she completed the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Tax School course and is a member of the Twin Cities Financial and Estate Planning Councils.
