Dan Weiss, MSFP

Financial Planning Analyst
Master of Science in Financial Planning

Financial Planning is in my blood. My dad is a CFP, so, growing-up, on car rides to and from soccer practice, I learned about the differences between a Traditional and a Roth IRA. I became captivated with the profession’s purpose of helping people and making the world a better place.

Dan earned his BA from the University of Michigan double-majoring in International Studies (focus: Political Economy and Development) and Spanish. He earned a Master of Science in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University. He interned for Regent Wealth Management Group, a boutique RIA in Woodbridge, Connecticut serving high-net-worth individuals and Chen Planning Consultants, Inc., one of the pioneers of holistic financial planning.

With a passion for adventure and continuous-learning, Dan taught English as a Second Language abroad for 2-years in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam becoming fluent in Mandarin. During his free time, he loves to read, meditate, and do yoga.

Dan volunteers for the Connecticut Association for Human Services as a Financial Coach and is an FPA member.
