Ellan has been in the financial services industry since 2013. As a Planning and Operations Manager, she focuses on helping our Financial Planning services run smoothly. With her previous work as a Wealth Manager, she understands the process of developing and constructing creative game plans to achieve clients’ goals. She continually strives to bring this knowledge into building efficient processes and tools in order to provide clients with the highest quality work.
“With a never-ending string of interests, my goal growing up was not to be something specific like a doctor, actor, or lawyer – that just depended on the day. Instead my goal was to , ‘simply,’ be happy. I’ve learned that happiness can take many forms, and oftentimes long-lasting happiness comes from a change in perspective and discovering what ‘balance’ means to you. This is at the core of how I approach my work and assist our Financial Planning team in helping clients discern and achieve their long-term success.”
Ellan earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where she also played Principal French horn in the St. Olaf Orchestra and St. Olaf Band. Upon graduation, she worked as a Financial Consulting Assistant for a financial planning firm where she performed a vital part in analyzing and developing clients’ retirement plans as well as educating clients on fundamental financial topics. During this time, she earned her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Ellan came to PrairieView as a Wealth Manager and has since moved to the Operations side of the firm.
