Jonathan M. Jaranson, CFP®
Jonathan M. Jaranson is responsible for the firm’s investment research and analysis, as well as setting the firm’s investment policy. He manages and designs portfolios at the firm level and implements those strategies on the client level. He has expertise with diversification of concentrated positions as well as employee stock option valuation. He is also responsible for execution of the equity and fixed income trading platforms.
Jonathan previously served as the Chief Investment Officer of Carlson Capital Management. At Carlson, he was responsible for managing investment portfolios for individuals with a combined wealth in excess of $850 million. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from St. Olaf College. He has also obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Jonathan has extensive experience structuring globally diversified investment portfolios for individuals that effectively utilize passively managed index funds and exchange traded funds to match risk capacity and exposure to achieve optimal investment returns.
Jonathan and his wife, Allison, reside in Northfield, Minnesota, with their daughter.
